You have left your appointment and come to his imposing mansion in the dead of night to investigate a murder. Everyone looks sad, but behind their faces lie secrets. You don't yet know who, how or why, but in 120 minutes you must discover what lies behind these people who now stare in fear at the corpse of a murdered man.
The characters

John Smith
Son of an aristocratic family who love mysteries. As a young man he gave up the comfortable family life to discover the real London and help others as a detective. His father was a comrade-in-arms with Lord Anderson in the Great War.

David Living
David Living is Lord Anderson's best friend and supports his expeditions to Africa in exchange for archaeological artefacts from all over the world. Many of the strange objects in the mansion were brought back from his travels. His next adventure was an expedition to Egypt where he wanted Lord to advance him a large sum of money.

Mr.D
Son of Count Vlad Tepes VI, known in high society as Mr. D. He has fallen in love with a young Englishwoman and, at her insistence, they live together in the mansion. A strange character, the young man is strangely attracted to the women he meets.

James Benson
Butler of the mansion for over 30 years. Faithful servant willing to do anything for the family. Has had a discreet love affair with Lady Brighton, Lord Anderson's sister, for many years.

Sir Brighton
Sir James Brighton is an officer in His Majesty's Army. Son of Lady Brighton and nephew of Lord Anderson, he is the principal heir to the estates and manor. He was married to Lady Turner with whom he had two daughters. His wife died in a horse riding accident. He spends long periods away from the mansion on army expeditions. He is an intelligent man, capable of fighting any enemy.

Lady Brighton
Margaret Brighton sister of Lord Anderson and widow of Andrew Brighton. When her husband died she went to live in the family mansion where she controls with an iron fist everything that happens in the house and the family.

Lady Sophie
Passionate about archaeology, like her uncle, she became a great adventurer. She is the favourite niece of Lord Anderson, also passionate about the mysteries of Egypt and the adventures of David Living. She is currently secretly in love with her sister's boyfriend.

Lady Rose
Sir Brighton's daughter is the darling of the house. Her father indulges her every whim, including bringing home her strange new boyfriend she met on her last trip to Europe. She does not like reading, nor her sister's adventures. She prefers the comfortable life provided by the family money.

Nancy Walkers
A housekeeper and cook at the mansion for 20 years, she resents having Lord Anderson's sister's family at home because she can't do things the way she used to do them. Born in India where in her childhood she met David Living with whom she had gone on an expedition when they were young.

Susan Grey
The house maid cares devotedly for Lord Anderson's nieces as well as secretly for Sir Brighton with whom she has a torrid love affair. Once the lovers have been discovered by Lady Brighton who would want her out of the house against her son's wishes.
